Vertical disc granulator is a widely used equipment for producing granular materials. Its structural features include the following aspects:
1. Granulating disc
Disc shape: The core part of the equipment is a horizontally placed disc or round disc, which has the main function of granulation.
Adjustment angle: The inclination angle of the disc can be adjusted, usually between 40° and 55°, to optimize the granulation effect and the uniformity of the particles.
Surface treatment: The surface of the disc is usually specially treated, such as coating or surface hardening, to improve wear resistance and reduce material adhesion.
2. Scraper system
Scraper type: Equipped with an adjustable scraper or scraper, which is used to scrape the formed particles from the disc to prevent the particles from staying excessively on the disc surface.
Scraper adjustment: The height and angle of the scraper are adjustable to adapt to different types and sizes of particles, ensuring good particle quality and production efficiency.
3. Driving device
Motor drive: The disc is usually driven by a motor, which converts the electric energy into the rotational motion of the disc through a reducer.
Reducer: Equipped with a reducer, the speed of the disc can be accurately controlled to adapt to different production requirements and material properties.
4. Feeding system
Feeding port: The equipment is equipped with a feeding port to evenly feed the raw materials into the disc.
Batching device: Some equipment is equipped with an automatic batching device, which can accurately add raw materials according to the formula requirements to ensure the stability of the production process and product quality.
5. Discharge system
Particle outlet: The edge of the disc is usually equipped with a particle outlet to discharge the formed particles from the equipment.
Collection device: Equipped with a collection device (such as a belt conveyor or a screw conveyor) to send the discharged particles to the next process or storage area.
