Drying is an important part of organic fertilizer production, and it is very important to pay attention to the drying method. Fertilizer produced by organic fertilizer equipment is very dry, so how does organic fertilizer equipment produce dry fertilizer?
1. Mechanical dehydration method: Mechanical dehydration method is to squeeze out part of the water by pressurizing the material. Commonly used methods include pressing, sedimentation, filtration, centrifugal separation, etc. Mechanical dehydration can only remove part of the free water in the material, and the combined water still remains in the material. Therefore, the moisture content of the material is still very high after mechanical dehydration, generally 40-60%. But mechanical dehydration is an economical method.
2. Heating drying method: that is, what we often call drying with an organic fertilizer dryer, which uses heat energy to heat the material and gasify the water in the material. Removing water from the material requires a certain amount of heat energy. Usually, air is used to dry materials. The air is preheated and sent into the dryer to transfer heat to the materials, gasify the moisture in the materials, form water vapor, and carry it out of the dryer with the air. After the materials are heated and dried, the combined moisture in the materials can be removed to achieve the moisture content required by the product or raw material.
3. Chemical dehumidification method: It uses desiccant to remove a small amount of moisture in gas, liquid, and solid materials. Due to the limited dehumidification capacity of desiccant, it is only used to remove trace moisture in the materials. Therefore, it is rarely used in production.
